Giacomo Ibba

Graduated in Computer Science at the University of Cagliari in September 2020, with final grade 108/110 and thesis entitled ‘Proof of Concept of Neural Networks Implementation on the Ethereum Blockchain’, whose purpose was to demonstrate that, even if with limitations it is possible run Machine Learning models on the blockchain.
From April to November 2019 I worked on a research granted at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari aimed at the implementation of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) that certifies documents with the help of blockchain technology.
Currently in the first year of his PhD at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari.
Research interests: Application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms for fraudulent contracts detection within the Ethereum blockchain. Application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms for vulnerabilities detection within the contracts of the Ethereum blockchain. Study of blockchain technology scalability, and study of the possibilities of implementing and running Machine Learning algorithms and models directly on the blockchain, optimizing scalability and Ether consumption.
