Andrea Pinna
Andrea Pinna is a research fellow at the University of Cagliari.
His field of research concerns the study of blockchain technology and its applications. The topics of interest include the study of smart contracts, and the software engineering aspects concerning the development of software based on blockchain and the enhancement of the social, economic and environmental impact. He also dealt with the study of Bitcoin’s blockchain data by analyzing the networks and behaviors of the users who use them.
He holds a Ph.D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Cagliari. The thesis is titled “The Blockchain Technology Analysis and Applications” with supervisors prof. Giorgio Giacinto, Michele Marchesi and Roberto Tonelli. Discussed in March 2018, it was one of the first doctoral theses on the subject of blockchain technology.
He graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Cagliari. His thesis is titled “Marking Observer for Petri Nets with Labels and Uncertainty on Initial Marking”, with supervisor prof. Carla Seatzu.
